280AI brass

Which brand off brass would be best for the 280AI.
Nosler
Norma
Winchester(after weight sorting)
Something else

I was only able to find the Nosler match prepped stuff. It is ready to load but the only downside is it comes in boxes of 50 and it costs nearly $70....

I run this brass in my fclass rig.

Is it for a Match rifle? I would not use Win unless you can find some without nickel plating. I use Rem brass but it's not a match rifle.

It's not a match rifle but it is a custom rifle and I'm an accuracy fanatic.
I like the idea of Nosler brass cause they don't have to be fireformed but I have heard they have very tight primer pockets and that Nosler brass is soft.
Those are not facts but just what I have read.

..My apologies for hi jacking but with regards to the Nosler brass , have you found it to be quite soft? I sorted through a batch of 6.5x284 and although I thought the quality wasn't too shabby upon first glance I did find that some of my previous loads had to be reduced as much as 10-12 percent as compared to Lapua brass..
Would this be a case of simply less capacity than the lapua?
I admit I did not do any volume tests as regardless of the findings I opted not to use the nosler stuff .

Lawrence 97- Being that you have been using the Nosler brass have You found any faults with it ?

If not I will get some and give it a try.

I have used both Nosler 280AI brass and reformed Lapua 30-06 brass and found the same. The Lapua took 3 more grains of powder to get like velocity yet showed less pressure. Same bullet and powder but different chambers.
