well, I was wondering if any body has a good load for the 130gr nosler balistic tip in 270wsm. only shot a box of factory and a few reloads. boy, you really have to hang onto that gun to hit anything. several of the factory rounds had loose bullets in them that is you could turn them with your fingers. whats up with that? treeman, I have a .270 WSM in a Browning A-bolt stainless stalker and you are correct, it will rear with you on recoil. It is my main go to hunting rifle. I don't shoot factory loads at all. Never found any that I thought was accurate for any rifle as far as that goes. My first and only hand loads for my rifle is the 130 gr. Ballistic Silver Tip on top of 65.0 gr. of RL-19 with a Fed 215 GM Match primer in Remington brass seated .010 from the lands. It chronoed at around 3350 fps at 100 yds. and shot the first 3 bullets out of the clean new bore into one ragged hole. It has also done that several times in the past. Well, three or four anyway. I don't shoot it from the bench only to check my new loads each year before hunting season. No need to beat on it. It is my meat getter. I hope this helps. Bill
