270gr RDF in 338LM

Hello
Can anybody let me know their experiences with the 270gr. RDF?
In 338 Lapua Magnum or similar hot 338 Magnum class cartridges?
Thanks!

didn’t know they had a 270 RDF in 338 but in general the RDF bullets aren’t bad.
That certainly has not been my experience with Nosler RDF bullets….
Terrible!!! 178 pieces out of 500 made weight with variance of up or down of .5gr to as much as 1.80gr, didn’t waste time checking base to ogive… they shot terrible in my 280AI and I realised why I had gotten such a bargain on them.
$ + 150pcs of Berger 180 Hybrids… I was really wishing I had kept the Bergers…!

Yea, they certainly don’t replace Berger’s.

Why? What am I missing, I have always been pleased with the 300grain bullets. What advantage would a 270 grain bullet be. Just trying to understand, if I have been missing something all these years?
