26gr varmint grenades

Anyone tried these in a 20tac im looking for a start load using vit133 looking at quickload its saying about 26.5 gr
anyone tried swiss powders in this calibre been based in uk we have limited powders with the REACH ban

No not restricted just was given 4 boxes so a 1000 in total just thought would give them a try see if they stabilise in a 1 in 11 pacnor barrel

The .20 calibers in general are fascinating. The ability to do so much with so little powder and such a tiny bullet always impresses me.

I am running 26 grn of n133 behind a 26 grn varmint grenade in my 20 practical. It is a 1 in 11 twist barrel, 24" long. Crazy speed, around 4500, very explosive results to about 200 yards. YMMV

They should stabilize fine. I shoot them as well as 32 Lead free ballistic tips out of my .20 Practical with a 1-11" twist and they stabilize no problem.

Was also thinking that if you don't get acceptable accuracy with the N-133, do be sure to try other faster powders as the small lead-free are powder-picky, though shoot great once tuned to right powder combo for your rig. Fast powders like Lt-32 generally rule on accuracy with the smaller lead-free and real slow powders for that caliber will tend to do poorly - though there is always the exception. Keep your brass to where there is no more than .001" to .002" "headspace" clearance if a bolt gun. You will see a bigger difference in accuracy improvement than likewise closing up the tolerances with heavier bullets, whether lead or not.
