.264WM Elk load?

If I were in your shoes, and could find them, I'd load using the 140gr Partitions. I wonder how some of those bullets constructed for long range performance would hold together at 50 yards hitting heavy bones?

I'm hoping that ammo manufacturers have finished up their yearly runs of hunting ammo ahead of fall seasons and now components will be more readily available. I'm planning on stocking up when I find it as it may be another year before I see it again :-(

A good option that’s current available from a number of online suppliers is the hornady 140 interlock. They’ll stabilize just fine in a 1/9 and hold up surprisingly well at 264 WM velocities. The 129 lrab is pretty fragile at shorter range, yet the 130 accubond works pretty well.
