264 Win Mag- Any one used to own one??

HI
I have put an offer in on a .264 Win Mag.

Any one had any experience with the .264 WM??
Has anyone loaded for one using R19 or 4831 or WMR??

Will be used on cats/dogs through pigs to Donkeys maybe camels.
From your own experience is 3200 Fps achievable with a 120-130 grain Proj?? Is there any high BC premium projectiles like Fail-safe or Partition or ??? in the 130-150 grain weight range, approx 3000fps) for larger ferals.

What PBR whould you use for the .264 WM?? 4 or 5 inch??

Thanks for the help.

I have a long range rig in .264 Win. Mag.

Here are a few velocities from some testing I did with 120 SMK and H-1000
69.0 gr.----3425 fps SD 10
69.5 gr.----3434 fps SD 7
70.0 gr.----3448 fps SD 6

I'm shooting H50BMG and a moly coated 142 SMK at about 3050 fps. I can go faster with different powder, but this combinatin gives the best accuracy.

60.5 gr. H-4831, ww case, cci-250 primer and a 140 Nosler part. worked well in a 24 inch Douglas chambered barrel@ 2950 +fps.It shot under .5 for 5 shots@100yds. in a light contour.

Hi for the 264 Win Mag you would be best served with AR2217,H1000) or AR2225,Retumbo) and Retumbo should be your start point as it has the coldest flame temperature of all the ADI rifle propelents and is designed for large capacity overbored rounds just like the 264 i would look at the 140gr weight and there are lots of plastic tip bullets available at that weight and i think the Accubond and SST bullets are 140gr aswell so you can use the light constructed 140's for smaller ferrals and the bonded bullets for larger animals like donkeys and large pigs.

HI
Thanks Wild Bill.
The offer I made on the .264 was accepted but the owner has to wait for the .264's replacement to arrive b4 I can have it.

I was planning on trying the new woodleys 140's as the seem to have a fair BC and at 3200+ FPS will work well out ot about 400 yards.
+2.5@100Y zero @ approx 270Y -6 inches at 350 yards with approx 2000 FT-lbs of energy.
Should work well on most aussie game maybe even camels.

ADI doesn't seem to have updated their reloading info for the 264 to include the new powders yet.
