I bought a Tikka T3x Lite Veil Wideland in 6.5 Creedmoor (heavy sporter D18 barrel) and I'm having my gunsmith rechamber it to 260 AI. His reamer will give me a no neck turn chamber dimensioed to use Redding 260 AI Type S Match Bushing Dies.
I'm going to use:
Alpha 260 Rem SRP brass
Vihtavuori N555 powder (H4350 burning speed but with de-coppering agent)
CCI 450 small rifle primers
Speer Gold Dot 140gr (rebated boattail and HBN coated) bullets -or- Federal 140gr Terminal Ascent bullets once they are released as components (currently only available in loaded ammo)

If anyone has developed either fire forming or finished loads with N555 powder and 140 grain bullets, please share.

For fire form loads, I suspect somewhere around 44gr of 555 should work well. And you can add a grain when starting your formed load work up. But, always double check and confirm before firing.
