260AI brass

Many of the older posts/articles about forming 260AI brass have used Lapua .243 brass as the parent cartridge. Almost all mention doughnuts after FF. Does using the now available .260 Lapua brass eliminate this problem? Is it now just a matter of load & shoot?
Thanks!

I have been using the Lapua .260 brass in my .260A.I. I think it some of the very best brass I have ever used. No doughnuts at all..I jam a lighter bullet and a moderate charge of powder and fireform them perfectly..

I have some 243AI cases here that seem perfect formed from 243 Lapua brass with no kind of neck turning, so if the 260 brass is the same I would see no reason it would have trouble as well...

260AI is pretty much all I've shot for past 5 years. i've made brass from
lapua 243win,
lapua 260,
RP 243win,
win 243win,
hornady 243win (sold as blemished)
and probably a few i can't remember

oddly enough, the RP and hornady worked best for me. they all shot equally accurately, so 'best' for me means lowest ES/SD and longest life.

the lapua, RP and hornady all got me to low single digit SDs and single digit ES.
however, the lapua only lasted a few firings while the hornady made it to about 15 before i'd lost so many of them that i didn't have enough to shoot a match and had to move on. also, i had to neck turn the lapua 260 a LOT because they were so thick. and they only lasted a few firings.

the win 243win were by far the worst. i lost about 10 percent of them just necking them up. horrible accuracy and primer pockets were gone after one firing.

i love lapua brass in 223 and 308, but i'll never pay a premium for their stuff in 243 or 260 again
