260 remington

I am about to start loading some rounds for my Savage 260. So far I have new brass, H4350 and H4831 powder and CCI 200 primers. Seems like quite a few guys prefer the BR2 or Federal 210 primers for their loads. Has anyone compared the benchrest primers to standard primers? Not sure if I should buy some to try out. Thanks guys

I usually shoot the Wolf LR primers in my 260 but after some chronographing I came to the conclusion that Federal GM210M's will have about 15fps more velocity with a lower standard deviation than the Wolf's or CCI BR-2's (very close at the low end of the power scale) when igniting slower powders like H4831sc. Once I reached the power of Winchester LR Magnums, SD started going back up.
My favorite reference for primer testing is http://www.castingstuff.com/primer_testing_reference.htm and some other reading from TechShooter http://www.the-long-family.com/primer_study.htm
