260 reduced recoil loads

Anybody have 260 rem reduced recoil load data? Something around 2000 fps shooting a 100 gr or liter bullet, for a 10 year old girl in a lite rifle. Thanks Jon

My Lyman book gives a load with a 120 gr Nosler ballistic tip start load of IMR 7828 of 40.5 grs for 2288 fps. in a 24" barrel 260 Rem. The Lyman book also gives some cast bullet loads for 140 gr bullets in the 1600 to 2200 fps range. I hope you are just punching paper with that light of a load because bullets will not expand much if any at that 2000 fps muzzle velocity.

I've shot 107's using Serrias accuracy load and the recoil was much less than when I shoot 140's. Felt a lot like a 6BR. Shot good to. I don't know that there is that much to down load it.

Check out the data from IMR on how to work up reduced loads using Trail Boss.

There's also some information on how to create reduced loads using H4895.
