So my best friend loves to just spend money...he's got it, so he does. (A fool and his money, as they say)
He bought some Lapua 260 brass...and loaded it up, light, with some 142gr smk's and fired 80rounds on our last range day...trying to get his new LRP sighted in. He sends me a text yesterday saying the brass is "too hard to work"....not sure what he means, other than resizing. I know he has a Lee collet die for it...but I think he is also wanting to use his Redding FL body die after each firing (not sure why....) He's using a Co-Ax...if that matters.
So...is Lapua brass hard to work? I just started using some .223 Lapua brass and haven't fired any yet...and just loaded it right out of the box...
Also...is there a market for once fired .260 brass? (well..80 fired, 20 new) of is that mostly held for the ppc/br stuff?
