I have a .260 barrel for my Tubb rifle that I've been shooting Remington brass in, and I just got some Lapua brass to try. I measured some fired rounds of the Remington and came up with .295-.296 fired dimension. So that leads me to believe that the neck is the standard .297. I seated a bullet in the new Lapua case, and the loaded round dimension is .293. Is this enough clearance, or should I turn the necks a little?
Thanks!
