260 ackley headspace

This may have been covered before but I've read that that you can set headspace on a 260 ackley with a 260 remington no go gauge. anyone info on setup would be helpful. Thanks

Boiler house,

For cases, like the 260, that headspace on the shoulder, the headspace dimension is usually .004" shorter for the AI chamber. This shorter length is what gives you the "crush" fit on standard cases for fireforming.
So the standard 260 go gage would act like a no go gage in the Ackley chamber.
With all that said I recommend that you just buy the proper gages.

Thanks, i visited with dave at PTG, what a guy, they are out of the go gauges but are going to have one for me next week. He is always very helpful anytime i've needed something. Thanks for your help
