Just shoot an email to bergerltd@aol.com and Walt Berger himself will hook you up with some data using QuickLoad. I've done this for five or six caliber/bullet combinations and have always gotten a reply within a couple days. Excellent customer service.

I got the same data that you are interested in from Walt late last month. It is certainly worth the time for an email to him as the return email he sent me listed 15 different powder combinations with start and maximum loads. I will be putting some of these loads together in the next few weeks and will do some load testing after the weather warms up a bit.

I have a 25-06 built on a M700 action with a 1:10 twist Hart HV barrel. It really loves 85gr ballistic tips however i have played around with the 115 Berger VLD as well for a long long range alternative. I have actually had very good success using RL-19 and remington cases and CCI-200 primers. I'm thinking it was a near max load but I can't remember the exact load as I am at work but i can look it up if you are interested. I do remember i was getting roughly 2900 FPS out of it and it wasn't uncommon to have groups less than 0.600 at 200 yards. My rifle liked them about 0.005 off the lands but have heard good reports of having them just kissing or even a 0.005 jam. I have never gotten around to shooting a varmint with one as i have been pretty impressed by the shock and awe effect of those 85's. Let me know if you need any help. I'll be glad too as i have done a TON of load development for my 25/06.

Just use H4831-SC and seat 'em into the lands with a square mark on the ogive and you'll be fine. I run mine around 3160.

I have something similar to alf. I use reloder 22 55grains 115gr Berger seated into the lands and a 250 primer. I also use remington brass. I have a 26" barrel so anything in the speed of h4831 and re22 will work good.
