2500x into an Eliseo chassis?

Has anyone stuffed a 2500 action into an Eliseo F Open chassis? We'll mill it for the trigger hanger but I don't know what to do about a recoil lug, if anything. I thought about a blind hole in the stock using a stub bolt for the middle action screw, but the trigger guard hole will interfere, I think.

Wonder if I even need a lug of any type, and I'm not sure I would even need the middle action screw.

They used to build 222 remingtons with out a recoil lug. i saw one that the owner must have had doubts about not having a lug and had driven a horse shoe nail into the stock up against the tang of the action. Probably can't do that with an Eliseo chassis.
