You do not want a full length guide.Does anyone have contact information on the fella that makes on here?
Thanks
At the risk of droning on, this has zero to do with “trusting” bore guides, even those with tight inserts.Sorry, I just saw this and thought I should say something. I'm the "fella" in question. Thanks Gene.
In a way I agree with Tim, Stiller, and Dan. If you don't trust your bore guide, you definitely don't want it full length.
I won't disparage anyone else's product on a public forum, but if you'd like a side by side comparison with other guides, I'll do that in a direct message.
If I'm stepping out of line here, I apologize, and I'm sure that the moderator will delete this. No worries.

Tim, I really hate to offend you, but apparently the fact that I make a pretty good guide, but I'm not famous, does.At the risk of droning on, this has zero to do with “trusting” bore guides, even those with tight inserts.
Bore guides are short, rods are long.
Take your rod with your guide. Clamp the guide in a vice, insert rod a few inches, now move rod a couple inches side to side. I guarantee you the section past the guide will move, ultimately against the side of your bore and you cannot see it.
Long before guys offered short guides the best smiths were cutting them down so you could “ steer “ the rod down the bore for less chance of damage because about zero shooters guide them through perfectly straight……not a tough concept.
When the best guys in the business all say the same thing…..they tend to be correct.

I was wondering what you actually think of my guide... in use... in comparison to the other guides that you've used.. You know....the one you don't own...the same one you've never used...the same one you've never tested. If you had tested it, you would realize that the most important part of your above statement does not apply to my guide.
I do thank you for the publicity.

I”m sure you make a wonderful guide, they all work the same and if the rod can pass through it what I described is exactly what happens…..short guides vs long rods, anybody can try that experiment.Tim, I really hate to offend you, but apparently the fact that I make a pretty good guide, but I'm not famous, does.
