$250 Remington 788 Stock WTB/WTT/WTS

Want to buy an original 788 stock for this 308 I just picked up. I am willing to trade/sell off the stock that is on the rifle now, please see pictures. It is a custom walnut stock that is in excellent shape, LOP is shown to be between 14 1/4" and 14 3/8". It has an extremely high comb, the gun came with see thru mounts someone had installed just to get the scope high enough to shoot comfortably. It will require see thru rings or high rings.

Looking for an original full length walnut stock only, not birch/beech or carbine stock. Please direct message me what you have. Price in the listing is "asking" but I am flexible. Would prefer not to sell, rather trade trade for an original. I likely will not sell until I have a replacement for it. Again, looking for walnut only please. Correct. I have a 788 22-250 first year 1967 that has walnut, I know my chances of finding one for this 308 are slim and the stock I have might just be what that rifle will have to wear.. it's a shame Remington didn't use walnut on these guns for a longer time.

I have one but it’s from a 30-30. Different action length. No doubt it would take modification to fit the .308 action. Let me know if you’re interested.
