I need a action screw hole spacing of aprox. 7 3/8 which is considered the long action in the 788. PM's have been sent to all 3 respondents. Waiting for responses back.

If you can't settle on existing stocks, Show Me Gun Stocks in MO replicates some pretty nice XLA (long action 7 1/8) stocks to fit the .308. Semi-inletted and nicely done. Aggressively priced and pretty quick fulfillment if your Bud is looking for a new whittling.
