Looking for 25 saum load data any bullet weight 7.5 twist

I'm just starting loading on a 25 WSSM.

Of course they are going to want to know specifics on your barrel.

Wish I could help. My experience stops at the 25-284. Lots of shooters shooting the 25 SAUM tho. H1000 would certainly be my first choice to start with.

Both of mine shoot 131's with about 60 grains of H 1000..
Will try Retumbo when the weather allows in my heavy gun.

Use 131 blackjacks, 58 grains R26. Gets me right at 3200FPS in a 1:7.5 twist 26” bartlien. Have taken this to 1 mile on a couple occasions.

Berger 133/135 bullets seem available everywhere today. Those would be good substitutes provided your barrel is fast enough to shoot the heavies.

I’d like to see more load data as well. I am shooting an X-Caliber 24” 1-7.5 barrel. 133 grain Bergers With 60.5 grains of H1000. I am still in load development and break in with 29 shots down the barrel. Showed
great accuracy at 500 yards.

I know this is an older thread. I was wondering what bullet you switched to if you're still shooting the 25 saum?
Also, in the picture you posted what length / twist is your barrel?

Hi Russ, I am still shooting the 131 ACE, but most of the guys who get supplies from me prefer the Berger 135's or the Nosler 110gr AB's. I have both available. That one is a 25" barrel 7.5 TW....

I'm in the process of having a 25 SAUM built, just waiting for JGS to get the reamer done. I'll be trying the new Hornady 134 ELD-M bullets first and probably with N565 or RL26. I'm not sure there's enough case capacity to use N570 and still get good velocity but I have it to try if the other two don't work out.

I haven't 100% decided on barrel length but as of now I'm heavily leaning to go 22in and expecting velocity to be somewhere around 3150 with those 134 ELD-M's.

Are you using LR mag primers or just large rifle primers? Most I've talked to are using LR Mag primers either 215's or CCI 250's.

Also, did you use a short, medium, or long action and do you recall what your OAL is with those 131's in your 25 SAUM?

I have a 25 SAUM reamer I purchased from BlackJack.

Any more on this development, should have my 24" 7.5 twist 25 saum in a week ish, planning to run n570 as I have a bunch and 215m's on adg brass
