25 PRC

Built a 25 PRC and used a 25 PRC Match reamer. I'm resizing 6.5 PRC to 25 and then having to neck turn. Was fun at first but the new is wearing off making brass. What might I do to get the neck to SAMMI specs? or might I neck turn the 6.5 brass before sizing? I really like the cartridge and getting 25-06 AI performance.

I don't think 25 PRC is Sammi approved yet to my knowledge. Necking down brass usually causes thick necks. Your reamer was obviously spec'ed for neck turning. Without causing concentricity problems, Kind of hard to fix the problem. There are neck reamers, But it may not wind up being machined as concentric as the original chamber.

Just like a chamber reamer a neck reamer, or for that matter, a simple chucking reamer will go to the middle of the original hole unless there is an alignment issue. I haven't done a before and after concentricity check but the phone hasn't rung yet.
