25 creeds looking good!

Must of been a good night but new build was hammering! 725 yards

Terminus Zeus
Ks arms 25 cal 1:7 twist barrel
Mpa chassis
Tt diamond
Heathen brake
131’s at 2900fps

Hoping to lower sd’s a little but it’s shooting pretty good. Barrels slower then I’d like hoping it will speed up a touch but I doubt it. Hits pressure point faster then expected! Sd was 10.4 over 20 rounds. Was told I should aim for 10 and less.

RL16 gives pretty good velocities, and obviously decent accuracy.

I found it to be pretty bulky. Compared to RL17 i was getting some fairly compressed loads with RL16. (7mm-08AI).
Will have more case fill than the H4350.

I did notice that. It did seem slightly compressed at 42.2-42.4 which was into the pressure a good decent amount

I am using RL16 and don't seem to get much compression with my load. I am at 1200rds and run 41.4gr for a solid 2940. It's my match load and shoots fairly well. I don't think anything around an es of 10 will get you into any trouble, especially inside 1k yds. You may drop a shot low at 1k every now and then, but if you run the numbers there is little to no difference from high to low. If you're aiming at MOA+ steel, don't bother using barrel life to chase the smallest groups, it isn't necessary.

What primers are you using? A primer change may help things tighten up. Also, check your seating depth on primers as well. I don't know what primer tool you are using but using one that can control the depth with consistency can help tighten things up as well. As much as I loved the Lee hand priming tool my random flyers and SDs have gone way down since changing over to the Bald Eagle priming press.

im using cci 450. I’ll try some 7 1/2’s and fed small rifle. My priming tool controls depth too. It’s the 21 century precision hand held priming tool.
