25 cal. Project Barrel

Starting a new project in a 25 cal. I’m trying to find a 1.250 blank. The choices i can put my hands on without an 8 month wait are a CRB 7.5 twist and a Bartlien 7.75-7.5 gain twist. I’ve never used CRB and I’ve never used a gain twist. CRB seems to be reputable but I’ve never used one or seen one. I would love the bartlien but I’m not sure if I want a gain twist. Other than a thread on here I don’t know anything about their real world performance. I guess my circle is too small and sheltered. Any input would be appreciated. 600 yd f class project if you’re wondering.

Fear not the gain twist! Many shooters in both short and long range are using them. I have one and it shoots very well when it's ummm, in tune lol.

Many of us shoot a gain twist. Don't know that it helps but it doesn't hurt.
