Anyone have a reamer to rent? I have a slew of military brass and a large coffee can of 85/87s.
I need a lot of wind doping practice and not interested in shooting up my guilt edge BR bbl learning how to ride the wind with training wheels.

find your best shooting 22 lr rimfire. It should be about 1/2 inch shooter at 50 yards. Use that standard pushing the target out to 100 yards. Cheap easy, can be fun calling the shots with that rig. Good Luck, mikeinct

You know, the boring old 250 Savage is actually an amazing, fun round that is very accurate! Just food for thought.

That did cross my mind. If I had a pile of brass near the 308 stash, that would be in the running.

I'm running 90gr Sierra BlitzKings out of my 250 Savage right now, coyote season.
Normally i run 115gr Berger VLD-H.
Rifle is a Stevens 200 (formerly 7mm-08AI) that now wears an E.R. Shaw 24" tube.

Does decent for a light hunting rifle out to 600 yards.

I still want to build a 25 Souper though!

As to the original question.
I've used 4D Reamer Rentals several times.
Never had an issue with them.
Will definitely use them again ( building a 7X57 for my daughter).

i think you ought to build a .25-08 or what ever you want to call it! I've got a 25-300WSM, 25-06, a 25-284, a 257 Roberts, even have a 6.5X257Ackley improved and have always wanted a 25-08 and got talked out of it every time I started to do it. You don't need a reason if you want one! That's makes us wildcatters!
