25 Cal mystery bullets.

Long and short of it is I'm sitting on 1700 85gr, HP flat base bullets.
HP is very large, a #52 / .063 drill will fit easily. My #53 / .067 was mia but the .070 would not go. It is .947 long. I comped it to a 90gr Sierra and it was noticeably longer.

I'm just curious as to who made what I have. I'm thinking that the BC is going to be poor with it being longer than the 90HPBT but lighter. Am I thinking right?

Speer used to make one, i think t was 85 grains

Speer used to be known for the larger hollow points in rifle bullets, like their 52 grain .224 HP.

I could always hope they are Starke........don't even know if he made an 85gr. I knew a fellow who coyote hunted with a Bob and used the Starke pill but don't remember what the wgt was.
