I am going to be loading jacketed bullets for a T/C Contender 21" carbine. I was lucky enough to find an older RCBS seater die [in my own stash..] with a seat plug for spitzer bullets. I've got a good stash of Speer & Sierra, 75gr and 87gr spitzers.
My next question is load data, there is a lot published for old 1892s and cast bullets, but less out there for jacketed.
Id say some good main stays for powder are 4198 and 4227. Ive also heard of folks running R7 and H322.
Anybody have any good recipes for 75gr jacketed bullets in 25-20WCF?
Any thoughts what velocity could be obtained?
Realize this isnt a barn burner cartridge, but every little bit helps.
Thanks for any advice.
