25-06 loads

Do any of you 25-06 users shoot the 115 grains Barnes X bullets or the 120 grain Hornady Interlock bullets. If so do you have some loads for these you would share. I would like to work up some accurate loads for use in a Ruger # 1.
Thank you.

I don't use either of these bullets in my 25-06 but with bullets in this weight I have had very good results with IMR 4350 and H-4831.
The load that I use for deer size game is 49 grs. IMR or AA 4350, Remington case, CCI 250 primer, 117 gr. Sierra Prohunter, OAL 3.150, 3000 fps from a 26 inch barrel and it is a 1/4 moa in my rifle. I hope this picture comes through. This is a group that I shot testing to see if IMR and Accurate Arms 4350 shot to the same POI at 300 yards. This is two rounds of each powder with the above load. 1 3/4 inch group. The shot out to the left was moved by a gust of wind. I was shooting only with a scope on 12 power from a bench rest. Remington sportsman 78 action, poor man's 700) Shilen #6 SS 26 inch barrel, HS Precision stock and a 3-12X56 Zeiss scope #8 reticle.

I do not have my notes with me right now; however, I loaded up max loads of IMR 4831, RL 22 and H1000 win my .25-06 shooting 115 gr NBTs. They are all 0.3 MOA and less. The H1000 was they best velocity and the group was in the 0.0s. All three loads were in the 2950-3000 fps range. I just went with the H1000 because it was the best. It is also supposed to be an extreme powder and resistant to poi changes due to weather; therefore, that is the load I now use.
