Curious what powder's are you going to be working with? I use non coated DTAC's with H-1000 in a 243AI and find them extremely accurate at around 2960-2980ish.

For ES check your neck tension and sort your DTAC's for bearing surface ect. Your speed is right in there where those bullets like to live. When you shoot your.strings no matter how many shots in a given load separate the brass by speed as well. If you have 6 or 7 out of 10 shoot with in a few feet of each other cull the 3 unacceptable speeds from the lot and start again. If you do this on the 1st load after fire forming you will have an accurate batch of brass for your 2nd loading. The 2nd loading is where you brass is going to be getting that perfect fit to the chamber and it will all start coming together quick. The brass is the key...Make sure your necks are cleaned ( steel wool ) before seating. Be anal ......it helps... :o

thanks for the good advice armored transport i had not thought about that culling of cases by speed and have never annealed yet THANKS

hi Greg, I was thinking about going to the 243 AI in my T2K and was wondering what OAL you are running with the 115. I can only run about 2.850 in the mag with around .020 safety margin, also what freebore is your reamer. thanks for any advise, Pete

Pete my OAL is 3.oo will not work in my mag don't know about free bore but mine has to much but shoots really good

make sure you sort them for ogive length, the last 500 I got were off quite a bit.

The last couple boxes I've bought have had basically two different lengths of bullets. Seems there's about 0.010" difference between the two. It's almost like they're coming off two different machines.

It's possible, the five I loaded up today had the same ogive length but one was up to .009" shorter than the others for OAL.
