I recently gave my nephew my 243AI, and he would like to try some 70-grain bullets. Unfortunately, he is stuck in CA. So we are looking for mono bullets/powder guides.

you dont need mono's for target use
only for hunting use

The Law states "Non-Leaded ammunition "WHEN TAKING WILDLIFE"
if he is not taking Wildlife then it is not regulated
(they don't want the Condors eating dead animals with lead is why)

They destroy prairie dogs too......My favorite bullets in the 6xc and 6mmAR. My 10 twist 243 WSSM doesn't like them though....
