.243 with 20" barrel

i need some load input.this was a youth model with brake,shoots federal fusion 95 gr. about 1.5 moa.i'm having stock bedded it is a good carry gun for doe control.any load suggestions?

Running a 75 Finnlight with 20in barrel using 85gr Sierra with 48gr 2213SC. It also has a can. Hardly hear it is so quiet.

My favorite rifle is a Rem 700 in .243, 18.5" barrel, suppressor. I'm shooting the 87gr. VMax, 44.5gr H414, WLR primers, Win brass. It's only going 3,070 fps, but is extremely accurate, and devastating on coyotes. Almost no recoil with the suppressor.

My 243 Model 7 Remington (20" barrel), shoots excellent groups with IMR 4350 and 85 grain Sierra Game King bullets. This bullet can be used for deer size game but go for a lung shot.

The Sierra Pro Hunter 100 grain bullet also works very well in my rifle, again with IMR 4350.

Shooting 90 Grain Swift Scirocco, over 47.5 grains W748, Chronos 3,225 fps and .3MOA out to 600 yards. Sighted in originally with 10 x 50 x 60 Sightron then switched scopes to Sightron 3.5 x 10 X 44 Iluminated with 1 .moa mil rads.

Doc, try the 95 ballistic tip with IMR 4350. It's a great deer bullet and most 243's do very well with 4350.

A common accuracy load for the .243 is 38 grs. 4895 with 85 gr. bullet. This powder burning rate would also do well in a short barrel.
