Howdy gunslingers,
I am hoping to purchase an entry level F-class rifle and I think I will start off with a decent brand of production rifle and then work on it as necessary. No.1 on the shortlist at the moment is the Tikka T3 Varmint in .243 Winchester. Now I know that there are a lot of Remington 700 fans out there, and the Remingtons are a fine rifle and a good, if not better place to start considering the aftermarket options, but I have a thing for Tikkas.
Getting back to my question. The Tikka comes with a 10 twist barrel which could leave a high BC 105-107 grain projectile a little wobbly in its travels. Does any one out there know of a good high BC projectile that will fly straight from a 10 twist barrell?
If I was to try the 105gn A-max, does any one expect stability issues?
Thanks
