.243 Win Twist + Recommended Projectiles?

Howdy gunslingers,
I am hoping to purchase an entry level F-class rifle and I think I will start off with a decent brand of production rifle and then work on it as necessary. No.1 on the shortlist at the moment is the Tikka T3 Varmint in .243 Winchester. Now I know that there are a lot of Remington 700 fans out there, and the Remingtons are a fine rifle and a good, if not better place to start considering the aftermarket options, but I have a thing for Tikkas.

Getting back to my question. The Tikka comes with a 10 twist barrel which could leave a high BC 105-107 grain projectile a little wobbly in its travels. Does any one out there know of a good high BC projectile that will fly straight from a 10 twist barrell?
If I was to try the 105gn A-max, does any one expect stability issues?

Thanks

Moo 1072, My 243 Blaser LRS2 has a 1 in 10 twist & groups v well with the Lapua scenar 90g bullets, also i tried the Exellent Berger 95g molly VLDs and obtained even better results, clovering at 200y prone with bypod, if you try the bergers they seem to preform best loaded into lands, paul.

Hi, I have a savage 243 win which is all factory with a 1-9.25" twist and I want to use this gun for coyote/deer hunting. What bullet weight would be best for this twist rate?

snipersteve,

I have the same combo in my rifle, if you are reloading I would suggest Hornady's 105 A-Max. If you are shooting factory, barnes bullets work really good and the Hornady light mag in a 100 grain bullet. I think barnes bullet come in 85 grain, and federal loads them.
