Recommended 243 win twist and bbl length?

i am going to have a 243 winchester built for long range off a rem 700 bdl. distances for 600-1000yards and long range deer hunting. plan is to use from 95gr berger vlds to 107smk sand 115 gr dtacs,whichever works best). what do you all recomend for twist and barrel length. i am interested in the broughton 5c barrels, does anyone have suggestions for makers of 6mm barrels? thanks.

That's a huge spread in bullets.
I don't know your location or shooting conditions.

But I'd say 8tw and Krieger,or other cut rifled) for cold bore accuracy in a carry weight contour.

Just built a Surgeon action, 28" Bartlien barrel, 8 twist .243. I have run 107's with AWESOME results. I was told by the guy that built it that it would shoot 115's w/o issue, and very, very good.

Shot a comp this weekend and finished 2nd. Very, very pleased with the Bartlien barrel.

What is funny is that I am shooting 2,3,385,500m, with the 107, and it will do it all with only 38gr of H4350EXT, and 210M primers.

I will be running this one for awhile.

I'm assuming that you are shooting HP Silh...if so how well does 105-107's knock over rams??
