I've been having coyotes coming in to close to the house lately and have an open field i can shoot out to 350 yards had one coyote out there about 200 and pulled the trigger and it missed fire ? put another round in there and it fired ? don't know what problem is but just started shooting hornaday superperformance 75 grain v max round. the primer wasn't hit ? what the hell ? i'm about 2.5 inches high at 100 and about zero at 300.

Sounds like the headspace was off on the round that misfired given the information presented.
If you have a comparator, check the case length of a fired case against the round that failed to fire. Off the shoulder at about the midway point to the base.
