243 nosler 70 grain

I used to use this combination with 760 Winchester ball powder and for the life of me my data for reloading cant be found has anyone got details for this combination

sorry i should have explained the projectile is 243 ballistic tip 70 grain,nosler) and the powder I want to use is Winchester 760 ball powder I used to use it and had all my data on a file at home but is now lost and cant find anything anywhere for this
If someone has any help it would be much appreciated

One of my old manuals recommends with 70gr bullets and W760 powder starting at 39.6gr with a max of 47.3gr. This is for the std 243 Winchester and not the WSSM.

In fourth edition of Hornady's handbook,page 175, you will find loads for Win 760 and 70 grains,Hornady) bullets. They state 40.3 grains as starting load,velocity 3000fps) and max 45.2 grains,velocity 3400 fps). Test rifle Win70, 24" barrel, 1-10 twist.

I have tried 55 grains Nosler bt with 50.0 grains of Win760, groups 0.3-0.4 . I cannot get this bullets anywhere close to the lands, and considering this, the groups are not too shabby. Did not chrony, but guess this load is about 4000 fps.

47 grains sounds familiar
thank you for your input
and it is for the standard Winchester 243 not the WSSM they where grouping tight last reload and am now sure was running about 47.2 grains for 70 grain bt
