243 load data for 1000 yards

I built a 1000 yard bench gun.
Did some loaded testing at 300 yards.
H4831sc
40.5 gr
105 berger.
28" bartlein
Aug velocity 2700 fps.
I would like to try to get 2900 fps any load data to help?

according to my magnetospeed my 27.25 inch Krieger .236 8 twist 243 Win bbl gets 3200 fps from 41.5 H4350 in WW cases and shoots pretty dang good at least for my skill set,,last time I had it out I hit the 10 inch gong 17 of 20 times at 1,000 yards,,

I shoot the 105 VLD orange box bullets,,

Go easy, 2 or 3 th's of a grain increase at a try...But I've been north of your number w H-4831.using WW cases, not Lapua..Let the accuracy, pressure signs & not the speed decide where you must stop increasing the charge weight..Mike in Ct

There are 3 different Berger 105 Match Bullets, which one did you use?

We just had the Leopold 1000 Match in Oregon.
For the past two years 243 has been in the Winners circle.
105 Berger's driven by R-17 3000 fps.
He is a Gun Smith very short barrel life 2 set backs new barrel ?????????????????

Friend talked me into trying some Hybrid 100V with 105s in my 243 out to 1000 and a little farther. It did very well for me in the 1-7.5 T Criterion barrel. Good velocity, no carbon, and accurate.

243w
107smk
42.9 gr. H-4831
Win. Brass
210M
2.300" to ogive, 2.845"+/- (0.005" off jam)
2,942 fps (chronoed in the summer around 90deg in the shade).

26" Shilen pre-fit, Salvage 11 short action, MDT HS3 chassis, Bush. XRS 4.5-30 glass, timney trigger. . Aggregates low .4's (5-shot groups)

Tried Lapua brass but didn't like it. Worked up to 45.6gr with Winchester brass with out pressure signs, but groups openned up after 43.7gr. Node was from 42.7gr to 43.3gr.

How does the winchester brass hold up to multiple reloads at that lower pressure level, pockets getting loose still an issue like it is when you push it hard?

Never had any problems with Winchester brass. Mild loads, max loads, made no difference on primer pockets. The 243 brass I'm using I've reloaded 16 times, annealed every 5 or 6 reloads. The necks feel like they can go 10+ reloads before needing to be annealed.

I've reloaded Winchester 308w brass 26 times and have have not scrapped any. The 308w loads are max or near max.

The Winchester 243w brass Im using varies very little from lot to lot, if any (4 different lots and a bunch from factory ammo varries 2.1gr. But the Win. 308w brass I have varries up to 6 grains in weight with different lots.

That is SUB 6 mm BR velocity range with the 105's!!

Most run the 6 BR in the 2850 - 2950 range.
Most run the Dashers in the 3000 - 3070 range.
Most run the 6-47L in the 3100 - 3200 range.

I would think the .243 Win with Lapua brass should be comforatable above 3200 fps.

Just my .02

Start with Lapua brass. Get some H1000 and RL 26. Next some 105 hybrids or 115 dtacs. I used the CCI br primers. They held up to the pressure better. My 24" would run the 105s at 3150 with RL26.
