I need help . i have just started to try and work up a load for my new .243 ai rem 700 it has a 27" 1-9 twist barrel .i want to use 95 gr vld bergers .From the data i got of the reloaders nest site it said v160 with about 46.7 gr should give me the mv i was looking for, around 3200 fps) so i started at a 10% reduction at 42gr v160 lapua cases cci 200 lrp berger95 gr vld 5 thou into the lands .the first load showed a very good 5 shot group but as i increased the charge the groups got worse and at 44 gr i got some real pressure signs no chrono so i don't no the mv but i gess it was no where near 3200 as the charge is way of the max plus there is still a lot of cases volume left .do primers make a pressure difference . should i try a slower powder .Any help would be great .just to let you know i am not an old hand at home loading and need all the help i can get
