243 AI 95 grain velocity

I am thinking of rebarreling a Model & to a 243 AI and was wondering what velocity one might expect with 95 grain bullets in a factory action. Thanks. Tom

My Coyote Rifle is a XP100 Turned into a rifle with a 1:10 Kreiger # 3 @ 24".

I have a HOT load of R22 with 95gr Berger VLD's going 3400fps+

Its a wicked round going that speed, like a dang lazerbeam with a ALOT of energy for a coyote. Cant wait to get it back with the new thumbhole stock on it.

Caution: this load is HOT and only shot in the winter time!!!!

You might consider a 6x47L I get 3400fps with an 88gr berger bullet and it is not showing any signs of preasure at all. And you just have to resize the neck,shoots in the .1's!!

With my 243ai I shoot the 105 bergers with 45.5 grns of reloader 22 with no preasure signs at 3150 fps with a 1 in 8 kreiger 26inches long. One hole at 100 yards 1/2 inch at 200.
