I think our esteemed Moderator looked at the wrong number. [Fixed it--Thanks!] The nominal length of the 243 is 2.045" but I don't think your brass will be that long. Most AI cartridges will lose about .010" to .020" in the fireforming process. The brass needed to form the new shoulder has to come from somewhere and you definitely want it to come from the length. Unless you have a short chamber, trimming all cases to the length of the shortest is about all you can do. That little bit of difference won't hurt a thing.

Moderator: Ray, thanks for catching my mistake. You know I even went to the trouble of checking the millimeters vs. the stated length in inches. But it helps to start with the dimension the man asked for... doesn't it!

I have Norton Internet Security and their ad blocker works great. It's so good that several sites will not let us log on. Like some of the casino games that my wife plays. But, what you can do is turn the ad blocker "off", log onto the site and then immediately turn the ad blocker back "on". But, since some of those sites make all their money off the pop ups they are probably working on a new way to block the blockers.:crazy:
