I recently sent a rifle back in 223 with 1x9 twist with 26 inch barrel. I put in the comments that if the barrel needs to be replaced if they could put in one of there 1x7 twist barrels. Which they only offer in 26 inch lengths. So I kinda assumed that's what they would put in if they did. Well I contacted them to see what they found and they said they are testing it now with a new 1x7 twist in 23 inch. I'm still pretty new to reloading and shooting beyond pulling the trigger. So maybe this is a great barrel setup. I'm just concerned because when I do research I don't see any like this actually. Will I struggle finding a good burn rate powder for the heavier bullets I want to experiment with. Anyone have any loads that work well for them in a relatively short barrel in a fast 1x7 twist? Thanks Nick.
