75 gr Amax is the only bullet I've been loading so far, and RL22 works great for this. I want to try 60 gr Nosler Partitions in this gun, was wondering if someone loads this bullet and which powder works well. Thank you.

Howdy !
I shot a .224" cal wildcat of my own design, with case cap between .22-250 and .220 Swift.
In a 28" SS 1-8 barrel, my best load was 75 "A"-Max over 40.5gr AA3100.
For top spped w/ great accuracy, I used FED LR Magnum Match primers, for 3,500fps honest.
The "accuracy load" was found after I switched primers to FED LR Match, w/ a small vel drop to 3,420; but... groups shrank nicely.
If/when you go to lighter bullet(s) than 75, you should also migrate more towards a faster powder than RL-22.....such as: RL-19, IMR4831, VV160; et al.
My .224" cal wildcat in a 24" SS 1-14 shot 55SX over 41.5gr WW760 or a tad more of VV160.
*With your longer barrel and faster twist, YOUR best powders w/ lighter bullets may be those that are IMR435O burn rate; and slower.

Mine is also 1 in 8" ROT, Brux medium sporter contour (26" bbl) built on Savage 10 short action. I use only one load - 39 grains of RL22 with 75 gr Amax, with ogive touching lands. CCI450 primers. My buddy gunsmith developed this load for himself and does wonders fo him. I reloaded the same brass forgot how many times with no enlargement of pockets. I had it built as a groundhog rifle, but ended up using it as a rifle for everything. There is a link to picture I took last season while processing a doe I shot 400 plus yards; it literally made two steps and dropped dead. There was exit wound as well, so Amax can penetrate well, not just explode on surface. But back to original subject, I met a guy who loads 53 gr. bullets (not sure which brand) for 22x47 with new Hodgdon hybrid 100 powder and gets one hole groups all the time.
