garandman, if the IBS is the target that will be used in most matches you will shoot. to help with transitioning to ARA or ir50, try to place your shots inside the 10-ring clean (no touching the ring) and go for X counts.
remember, if you take out the dot on the IBS that will most likely be a 100 on the ARA and minimum a 10 on the ir50.
my first season was shooting the RBA which is similar to the ir50, then they switched to the IBS for 1-1/2 seasons, I knew it wouldn't help my shooting. so I tried every shot to go for the x, knowing if I got an x that it would score on a ARA a 100. back in May we switched back to the RBA for the unlimited class, I finished the season earlier this month with my personal best of 748-54X on a very cold Sunday 38-degrees.
sometimes you just got to use what you are given, and be creative.
