Getting ready to build one....and ..I have some questions......i have reamers,brass,dies and a couple of barrel blanks would like to hear more from a bench rest shooter....to get me on my way i need some info on fireforming 220 russian for 244 neck thanks

That's a pretty tight neck. I have formed quite a few .22 Waldog cases. What is your question?

You might consider using Norma brass. They make a 22PPC. It's what I shoot and have had good performance with it. You will still need to turn necks to fit a .244 chamber.

Lapua 220 russian brass is already turned and going to fireform later today.....I picked up a couple of 22 ppc benchrest rifles made by seeley masker and they came with a core and finished reamer and a new hart bbl blank from 1983 . i am going to fireform them and then take the rifle to get the new blank made up......I met an old timer yesterday and learned a ton..to the range as soon as the rain stops...........
