22PPC with LT-32?

Anybody loading a 22PPC with LT-32. I've been looking around the net but not finding much about this combination. Are the two just not compatible with each other or is just nobody writing about it?

Thanks in advance for comments and input.

I have used LT32 with the 22ppc it works good on my varment gun, but i like using H322 it also works good and it dont cost as much, but If you got plenty of T powder on hand ,go for it

I'm shooting 25.5 gr of LT-32 pushing a 52 (or is it 53?) gr Hillbilly benchrest flat base in a straight 220 Beggs. It is not hot, but it isn't a starting load.

The 220 Beggs and the 22-100 short PPC are nearly identical. So, if you are shooting a 22-100, I suggest that you start a little lower and work your way up 0.3 gr at a time till you find goodness.

If you are shooting a full 22 PPC, you could probably go ahead and start at 25.0 behind a 52-ish bullet and work up. I don't know where you'd find goodness.

I'm using 26.4g behind a 50g vmax in a .100 short.

It's on the hotter side but in a custom action which seems to help. Average velocity was 3530fps last time I checked (21" barrel).

Like Greg, I'm shooting LT 32 in two 220 Beggs barrels. I'm using 26.0 grs behind a WS2 coated 53gr Hillbilly bullet. I have won matches with both rifles and have not had any trouble with blanked primers etc, but to be fair one bolt is a bushed Remington and the other is a Stiller Cobra. As Greg said, the 22 PPC short and the 220 Beggs are nearly identical in case capacity.

YMMV,
Rick
