22PPC small base dies?

I had a bad experience with 223 SB dies a long time ago, so wondering why SB 22PPC dies seem to outnumber standard dies about 2/1 at retailers?

What are your experiences, pros and cons?

Purpose: 300yds+

Maybe because the 22PPC was a pure wildcat until it was standardized as the PPCUSA cartridge and the wildcat versions seemed to be smaller? That's my experience. I have an original spec (Pindell spec) 22PPC barrel that I had to do a lot of hunting and pecking in the bin at Redding to find a smallish USA die that would fit "my" chamber closely.

Do you happen to know the .200 datum diameter of virgin Lapua 220 Russian brass?

I'm calling Redding tomorrow to find out that number for their SB 22PPC body die.
