22lr F Class Rifle

I am interested in getting started in 22 F Class shooting. I used my Cooper for the first match, but would like to obtain a rifle expressly designed for F Class (similar to my centerfire F Class rifles). I have searched on the Internet, but these seem to be as scarce as hen's teeth.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a custom builder?

Thanks

Bob,
I don't know what the weight limitations and other restrictions are for F Class 22 Rimifre are. But you might want to take a look at an Anschutz 64 MPR (costs around $1200). The MPR stands for "Multi-purpose rifle" which means you can adapt the rifle to various disciplines. The weight factor would be my main concern, although it might well qualify. This rifle IS a 64 actions and the 54 is actually a bit better, but you also pay more. I have used my 64 MPR as a Benchrest rifle and have adapted it to shooting that style. I've been fortunate to have place first in a few local competitions where that rifle outshot various custom rigs and well establish manufacturer's rifle being shot by some very accomplished shooters. And I'm convinced, that with the right ammo, that rifle shoots better than I do, although the both of us have broken 2350 pts out of a possible 2500 in an ARA sanctioned shoot.

you can buy a custom stiller action and barrel for 1100. It will fit in any 700 stock. All you need is a smith to fit the barrel. That shoud cost around 150 to 200. Trigger 150.

I guess I should clarify my comments that if money is no object, then do go the custom route and take a look at the custom actions mentioned, plus a Hall, Myers or Turbo action as well. And Dan Killough down in Texas is certainly a great place to start ff you decide to go custom action/build. But if you go that route, buy a decent barrel like a Lilja or similar that Dan can supply as well. He also has good pricing on Tuners which I frankly don't know if you can have in F Class comps. I have one of Dan's on mine and it really made a difference when shooting against the custom rigs that also had tuners. Good luck and have fund whichever way you go. But Killough Shooting Sports is an excellent source for Rimfire rifles, equipment and Eley Ammo.

Thanks for all the responses. This gives me a good place to start. I had looked at the Baitey actions and like the idea of a left bolt, left port as this is the same configuration as my centerfire F Class rifles.

Looks like I have another opportunity to spend money on a new gun!

I found a 40X rimfire barreled action on GunBroker and am putting it a PR&T F-Open LowBoy with a Whidden V-Block and a Jewell trigger. I will have it set up exactly like my F-Open rifles. I have talked to several people who practice this way with good results. I don't know what the rules are for 22rf F-Class. I just want to practice with it.
