22LR Chamber Reamer

Does anyone have good recommendations for a Match 22LR reamer? Solid pilot or removable, good companies, which version of the match reamer? Going to be rebarreling a couple Marlins with the help of a machinist friend, if all goes well with rimfires I'll maybe try rebarreling my Remington 700.

Thanks,

Mitch

Pacific Tool and Gauge Inc. (PTG) is the best place I know to get reamers, most of the smiths I know go there.

Now you have several choices as to what type of reamer to use. I would highly suggest either the Eley EPS or anschutz chammbers. Myself and several others I know have had difficulties with the Lilja and the PTG match chambers. Mostly extraction problems as they can be very tight. A litlle Flitz and polishing might help on these if your really pushing for a BR high end match chamber. The Eley EPS has a more traditional 1.5 deg leade and is my go to chamber reamer in most cases.
