Right guys thinking about a build as the title says 22br with 80 grn smk what type off barrel life will I be expecting it will be used for targets 300yards out too 1000yards

I'm running the same thing. I started with 80smks but have switched to the 75 Berger as of late. No particular reason, just decided to try something else.

I'm at roughly 700-800 rounds and have no difference in accuracy or speed.

My guess is the 22br with heavy bullets will last at least 1500-1700 rounds. Maybe more if not heated up too much.
