Are these all different chambering? Whats the difference? what would be the best choice for shooting 75gr a-max bullets in a fast twist barrel. I was really wanting a 22-250AI but most say the 22br is a better choice. so i thought what about the 22 dasher. A little more speed but i know squat about it. info needed. Lee

You will need custom dies for the dasher i think. Or at least get a set of 22BR dies reamed to suit.

BR improved,BRX) use the same dies as a BR but have a spacer underneath the die.

the brx and dasher you probably wont notice much between, but the improved ones will be equal to your 22-250AI with less powder required and you get all the inherent accuracy and efficiency from the parent BR case.

Is this for target or field? If it is for target, with a 22/250 Imp, you will start to get to the speeds where bullets might start coming apart, or just plain not being as accurate after a few shots. I started off with big cased 22s, but they were rechambered back to 22BRs and a 22BRX and accuracy and consistancy came back. No problems and very consistant over 39 shots between cleans. I would consider a 22 dasher as maximum for target use.
If it is for the field, then the 22/250 Imp wil be accurate enough and give you the speed you wil want for flat trajectory, as well as more whack at the target, as well as feeding through a magazine.
The basics are this.
22BR aprox 31gns capacity
22BRX is a 22BR with the shoulder blown .100' forward. Aprox 34gns capacity
the 22 dasher has the shoulder blown forward .100', but it has less body taper and a 40 degree shoulder. Approx 36gns capacity
std 22/250 approx 40gns capacity
22/250 imp aprox 43gns capacity
