Winchester 748 has worked well for me.

What I've used.......Reloder 15, completely awesome.......vv133, excellent....W748, excellent....and probably several more I haven't tried are good too. Shooting Sierra 50gr Blitz and Blitzking, 14 twist.

I have a 18'' 22BR truck gun I get about 3200fps w/ varget and 52gr bergers

Out of curiosity, what kind of velocities are you guys getting with the 50-55g bullets in your 22 brs?

One thing about the 22BR is that it has wide accuracy window.....accuracy over a broad velocity range. I think a lot of that is because of the slower 14" twist, it isn't as fussy about loads. The one I've shot most is a rechambered 40X with no freebore, .243" neck. I shoot only 50gr bullets in that gun. With W748, accuracy is from 3821-4004. With VV133, accuracy from 3755-3940. Chosen powder is RL15, accuracy from 3675-3900....my load is at 3900.

Thanks for the velocity info, I've been using a 22ppc with the 50g Vmaxs and getting 3550 out of a 20" barrel with no pressure signs was curious how much I would really gain by stepping up to the BR for the next barrel.

I just finished another 22BR 12 twist I'll post some vel. w/it w/ 55grs 50grs and 52grs maybe this weekend its was a 22BRX rechambered it to a 22BR.

WELL I DID SOME TESTING TODAY WITH THE 22BR W/55GR BTHP SIERRA'S AND H--322 30.2 GOT ME 3600FPS .217 GROUP 30.5 GRS GOT ME 3640 FPS .331 GROUP SO I THINK SHE'S GOING TO WORK THE VARMINTS WILL LIVE HARD AROUND HERE I'M GOING TO DO SOME TESTING W/ SOME 55GR V-MAX'S ALSO.M SHELTON I HOPE THIS WILL HELP U, POST MORE INFO LATER,

DID SOME MORE TESTING TODAY THIS LITTLE BUGGER IS BAD I SHOT 5 SHOTS TODAY 4 MEASURED .126 5TH SHOT OPENED IT UP TO .246 W/ THE 55GR SIERRA'S 30.2 GRS H-322 450M PRIMERS
