224 Valkyrie help

A friend of mine brought his 224 Valkyrie over for me to play with and try to get a good load worked up.
Any suggestions on powder for 80 gr and 69 gr bullets.
It is a AR
Once fired federal brass

Mines a 7 TW too. I have some of the Federal 90’s I’m gonna shoot. You’re right, 6.5 TW shoots them like a laser! I have a 6.5 TW on my .223 and shoot Berger 90’s. Multiple match winner! I’ve also contacted Bartlein about making me a 6.5 TW for my AR. I’ll see how the 7TW shoots them. Sierra has load data on their site. Shows RL15 and others. I would be interested in someone that has tried Varget.

That's my first pick also, maybe 8208?

Yes! I had great success with 8208 with the 80’s. Only went to Varget for the 90’s. But, that was with my .223 but, it’s a bolt gun. The case capacities are really different on the Valkyrie,and an AR as you know.
