I'm about to load some 224 Valkyrie c'tdges...using Starline brass, Sierra 77 TMK bullets and CFE powder.

Anyone here have any experience re primers they'd like to share?

I'll probably use CCI 400's since I have plenty and don't use them with my 6BRX, 204 and others.

I also have on hand 7 1/2 Rems, BR4 and CCI450s.

Thanks,

George

I don't shoot that caliber , but just remember the 400 will flatten at even modest pressure , maybe some br4s if you're testing to help identify pressure signs , if not I shoot 400s all the time in the AR platform with good results...

If you have Remington, br4's and 450's, use them.

Another primer that I have ignored for years is the Winchester SR. I recently started working with them in a 30br and a 25 Norma Dasher and I have gotten some very good groups. They are tough and che--- inexpensive.
